If you're thinking about wetting a line, now is the time. Captain Jody Starr offers fishing adventures of a lifetime in the back bays of Rockport, Texas. Captain Jody has a brand new fishing rig and equipment that can get you where the fish are. His 25' Haynie Magnum will provide you with a smooth, dry ride to and from Captain Jody's fishing honey holes.

Our target are fish are Trout, Redfish, Black Drum, Flounder, & Sheepshead with the greatest emphasis on Trout and Redfish.

The water, reefs, shorelines, and birds of the Rockport Texas area create a magical paradise for your adventure. We will catch some fish, experience the wonders of the flats, have a lot of fun, and do our best to create memories that will last a lifetime.

The Rockport area is extremely fortunate to have an abundance of fish, twenty inch plus trout and redfish are something we catch on a regular basis, no matter the time of the year.

What to bring:

Drinks and snacks, Hat, Sunglasses, Sunscreen, Weather appropriate clothing, Camera, Current Saltwater Fishing license or Hunting license, ( CLICK HERE for additional information) Ice chest to take your catch home, Proper wading gear (if applicable), USCG approved life jacket for any child under the age of 13 – who must wear it any time the boat is in motion.

Corporate and employee outings along with both adults and children are welcomed.

Refund Policy:

A written contact will be provided between Jody Starr Outfitting and the client. A 50% deposit is required before your hunt can be booked. The balance is due when you arrive in certifiable funds. Deposit is refunded or re-booked with 14 days of cancellation.
